After consulting the Programming Committee, the CNDS Board of Directors decided to allocate more than 32 million euros to fund 110 projects out of the 316 equipment grant applications submitted by local authorities or sports associations.
National federations assessed the sporting and territorial interests of each project before submitting their opinions to the CNOSF. These federal assessments provided insight for the programming committee in evaluating funding requests.
To refine its analysis, the programming committee uses several other information sources:
- First, an in-depth utilization of the national census of sports equipment, spaces, and practice sites (article L.312-2 of the sports code) provided by the CNDS services.
- Then, the multi-year development plans of sports federations, especially the territorial planning of sports equipment established by these federations.
In the end, 110 initiatives from local authorities and sports associations were selected by the CNDS Board of Directors as subsidized operations for a total amount of €32,304,000.
Among the selected projects, 5 concern sports equipment located in the Alpes-Maritimes.
