The presidents of the Mercantour, Vanoise, and รcrins national parks gathered on July 27 in Pralognan-la-Vanoise to discuss several issues.
The three alpine parks, having many common points, proposed avenues for cooperation and mutualization.
Numerous mutualizations are taking place at the scale of the alpine arc park with the Lacs et Alpages programs and soon the “Sentinels” Refuges for scientific monitoring and the management of fragile sites.
Charles Ange Ginรฉsy, president of the Mercantour national park, specifies that they “also have a common brand, Esprit Parc National, aimed at certifying local providers” and that they must “ensure its development. These are fields where our concern must be a partnership work to optimize performance and the proper use of public money. In fact, we are going to unite our efforts to seek European funding.”
By the end of the year, they will meet again to consolidate their partnership “in the Mercantour.”
