In the current developments, the RN has found a loophole to try to “dent,” if not more, Christian Estrosi, or at least his image.
At the helm are the two leaders (the Var native Frédéric Boccaletti) of the regional opposition party who have alerted the Commission of Ethics due to an alleged overspending on travel and representation expenses, as reported by Médiapart.

“Since, with extensive communication efforts, Christian Estrosi had also deemed it necessary to equip the Region with an Ethics Commission, we have therefore contacted it today by letter so that it can give its opinion on the expenses of the former President, who is still the Delegate President today. The Commission and its President will find here a unique opportunity to demonstrate their independence!” add, not without mischief, the two regional elected officials.
