The National Day of Sport and Disability aims to develop the image of adapted sports, enabling the inclusion and integration of people with disabilities into sports.
This accessibility helps break down social barriers and combat isolation. The project also aims to facilitate youth orientation and the professional integration of students.
The day is divided into three parts:
The presence of adapted physical activities for all disabilities, along with the introduction to manual and sensory activities. Regardless of the disability, sports are accessible.
Connecting students with professionals and local structures specializing in disabilities to create a link between the student world of STAPS and the professional environment, thus aiding in young people’s entry into the professional world.
An information stand on STAPS training to guide professionals and high school students in their future orientation. Concrete answers to questions about the STAPS curriculum, the knowledge and skills taught, as well as the different fields of professional integration.
In Nice, the National Day of Sport and Disability will be organized at the Faculty of Sports Sciences.
The Initiative Staps association and second and third-year Sports Management students have joined forces to offer a high-level program!
