The nativity scene and Christmas decorations will be installed throughout December in the entrance hall of the Hรดtel du Dรฉpartement. This nativity scene contributes to the promotion of the 21st Lucรฉram nativity circuit, an essential cultural event in the Alpes-Maritimes that runs until January 6, 2019.
By honoring it, the Department of Alpes-Maritimes aims to strengthen national cohesion as the Christmas holidays approach. Highlighting our Provenรงal figurines, in a setting worthy of the Mercantour landscapes, is to shine a spotlight on our culture, our history, and our heritage.
