Yesterday at the National Museum of Sport, Charles Ange Ginésy, President of the Alpes-Maritimes Department, presented the 2018 awards for the Challenge Trail Nature 06.
The Challenge Trail Nature 06 represents an innovative initiative because it raises awareness about respecting nature and the natural sites crossed during the sporting practice. With the challenge’s success over more than 10 years, along with the organization of major events such as the Ultra-Trail® Côte d’Azur Mercantour, the French championships, and the creation of the first trail station in the Southern Alps.
The awards ceremony was followed by the opening of the photo exhibition “Grande Traversée du Mercantour. Grand Défi!” in the presence of ultra-runner Stéphane Brogniart.
