The IT Department of the Metropolis Nice Cรดte d’Azur developed agile and scalable internal digital tools to address two major challenges: the implementation of a drive-through mask distribution at the Palais des Expositions in Nice, allowing local health workers to equip themselves, and the distribution of 1.2 million washable and reusable masks to the residents of Nice and the municipalities of the Metropolis.
A global leader in computing, Microsoft praised the quality of work by the Metropolis’s engineers and expressed a desire to draw inspiration from it to provide similar systems to other French communities for free.
