Since January 12, the iconic hotel on the Promenade des Anglais, Le Negresco, is in the running to win the Travel + Leisure World’s Best Award 2022.
This American award honors the best cities, islands, hotels, cruises, airports, national parks… In short, this award recognizes the best travel experiences, and you get to vote to choose the big winners!
The hotel with the pink dome, emblem of the Promenade des Anglais, expressed being “thrilled” to participate in this competition.

The five-star hotel has never won the Travel + Leisure World’s Best Award (literally the award for the world’s best travel and leisure).
Last year, it was Mahali Mzuri hotel in Kenya that won the award in the best hotel category. Some French hotels managed to reach the Top 100 of this ranking, such as La Réserve in Paris, which came in 16th place, and the Hôtel Plaza Athénée in Paris, which was ranked 75th.
