“Open Loft, Soft Landing, and Fab Lab will be made available to creators and entrepreneurs within the Nice Cรดte d’Azur Business Incubator. These tools are assets for the development of innovative companies in the area,” he added.
These new workspaces and tools will provide additional assets for the development of innovative companies in the region.
The creation of these spaces allows us to enhance the region’s positioning in innovation by illustrating the dynamism of the Nice Mรฉridia technology park, at the heart of the Eco-Vallรฉe National Interest Operation.
Since its establishment, the incubator has supported 74 companies that have generated over 315 jobs. It is a major tool for developing innovative companies, diversifying the local economy, and continuing industrial transformation.
Open Loft facilitates organizing networking meetings and events, informational and awareness sessions. It includes a collaborative workspace or co-working space that fits within a new approach to work modes. It is called Open Loft: “open” for its openness to innovation actors, entrepreneurship, higher education, SMEs, large groups, etc., and “loft” because it is a partition-free, friendly, and functional space. It will promote emulation and the emergence of projects.
Soft Landing allows companies wishing to establish themselves in the Metropolis to understand and “test” the local economic dynamics through immersion, with appropriate support. Soft landing is a service offered by most European CEIs. It is an additional asset to facilitate the establishment of companies.
Fab Lab is an open space for the public, aimed at entrepreneurs, designers, artists, inventors, students, etc., who want to quickly move from the concept phase to the prototyping phase, from the prototyping phase (creation of models, prototypes…) to the development phase, and from the development phase to deployment. This space will provide the public with high-tech design tools, including 3D printers.
