Until the end of September 2014, the Photographic Collective Photon is offering a new exhibition theme titled “Say it with Flowers,” which has just been set up at the Maison de l’Environnement and in its park at 31 Avenue Castellane.
The Photon Collective has chosen to embrace the spirit of spring, renewal, and rebirth by combining two cycles in its new exhibition “Say it with Flowers”: the cycle of nature, with a focus on roses, poppies, and the floral kingdom in its entirety, celebrated through stunning photographs, and the cycle of recycled objects, which will serve as a showcase for these images.
Old frames, scooter tires, broken shutters, and an old ladder—items declared dead by a fast-paced world that forgets to trust “yesterday”—have found new life as carriers of beauty.
The great wheel of Life follows the rhythm of the seasons. Through recycling, humanity also decides to bring back to life what has been deemed obsolete and unnecessary.
This conjunction of two life forces forms the foundation of the “Say it with Flowers” exhibition, which has been selected for the environmental awards of the City of Nice. It will initially be presented at the Maison de l’Environnement and then in other venues that can accommodate its indoor-outdoor configuration.
