The new headquarters of the IMREDD, spread over 5,000 square meters, will accommodate 180 teacher-researchers, 480 students, 12 research laboratories, and offer 20 training modules.

A result of the collaboration between the NCA Metropole and the UCA (Université Côte d’Azur) and certified within the framework of the Promising Campus project call by the State, IMREDD will undoubtedly become a reference center in its field of activity.

“With IMREDD, we are laying a new stone to the building of our future Eco-campus, a pillar of Nice Méridia that will change our territory’s economic scale, thanks also to the developments made around it, like the Saint-Augustin multimodal hub or the L3 tram,” commented Christian Estrosi, visibly satisfied with this new achievement.

For Jean-Pierre Barre, director of IMREDD: “Managing urban areas has become one of the most significant development challenges of the 21st century. The objective of the smart city is therefore to better manage the city and make it more pleasant for its inhabitants, its economic players, and its visitors. Thus, IMREDD aims to build the Mediterranean city of tomorrow.
