After several weeks of competition and voting, amid tension and suspense, Christian Estrosi, Mayor of Nice and President of Nice Cรดte d’Azur, will be pleased to present to you the First Marianne of the City, elected by the people of Nice from here and elsewhere, on Thursday, November 18, 2010, at 3:30 PM in his office.
The sculptor, Cyril de la Patelliรจre, along with all the members of the pre-selection jury, will also be present.
This bust, placed in the Town Hall, will symbolize the French Republic through a Niรงoise identity, a beautiful emblem of this 150th anniversary.
