Le Petit Futé Côte d’Azur Monaco had gathered at the Cantemerle * Hotel in Vence to present to more than 300 guests the 2008-2009 edition. This beautiful, quaint natural setting was chosen to celebrate this new edition but also to showcase local products: wine, cured meats, cheese. It was also an opportunity to meet Christian Eberhardt, the new owner of Cantemerle who has come from Alsace, and his head chef Jérôme Héraud, who recently arrived from the Southwest. Christian Iacono, Mayor of Vence, was delighted to host this event and took the opportunity to congratulate himself on having a new team at the helm of the three-star hotel.
Isabelle Drezen, publishing manager at Petit Futé Côte d’Azur Monaco, praised the new look of the publication, the price (11€) and the guide’s edition in India and Poland.
Le Petit Futé is somewhat like a mix between an encyclopedia and a monologue from Huggy the good tips. It has adapted to modern times with a “End of the Month” selection listing the best places in terms of quality and price.
