Dominique Estรจve was elected president of the Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry PACA (CCIR) on January 26th. During the general assembly of the Nice Cรดte d’Azur CCI (Chamber of Commerce and Industry), he unveiled his expectations for the new CCIR.
“The regional CCI will experience a new dynamic!” That’s how Dominique Estรจve, president of the regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry, began his speech during the general assembly of the CCI in Nice. Dominique Estรจve, freshly elected, outlined the future prospects of the regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry. “We will strive to provide businesses and trades with services at the lowest cost,” he admits. Similarly, in a drive for fairness, the president of the CCIR adds that one of his main objectives will be to “correct the current regional disparities.” In this regard, the headquarters of the CCIR might be relocated. Currently based in Marseille, it could be moved to Aix-en-Provence.
A Context of Change
The election of Dominique Estรจve coincides with a period of evolution for the regional chamber. The CCIR now directly receives tax revenues and redistributes them to the CCIT (Chamber of Commerce and Territorial Industry) and regional missions. At the same time, the CCIR will become the employer of the public agents of the CCIT as of January 1, 2013.
In conclusion to this intervention, Bernard Kleynhoff, president of the Nice Cรดte d’Azur CCI, wanted to pay tribute to his colleague. “Dominique is an experienced and competent man. He was elected because he presented a real project for the establishment of the CCIR.”
