As part of the launch of its new Master Media Manager program, IPAG Nice and Nice Premium are organizing a conference on Wednesday, May 9, 2012, at 6 PM, to discuss the new demands of these professions alongside professionals from various fields of journalism and communication on the Côte d’Azur.
The media world, as well as communication, is changing. The web and social networks are becoming a significant part of the media landscape, largely transforming their business models and professional practices. The communication strategies of companies and local authorities are also deeply transformed by the use of these same tools: the web and social networks.
Today, journalists and communicators are distinguished by their working conditions and the objectives of their professions, but increasingly less by the technological tools they must master nor by the level of their general knowledge.
This is why IPAG Nice has decided to bring together in a single conference media and communication decision-makers who will talk about their daily work and the use of these new communication tools:
– Denis Zanon, Director of the Nice Côte d’Azur Tourism Office, for the world of tourist communication
– Sébastien Mansour, Editor-in-Chief of Direct Azur, for free press
– Bruno Valentin, General Director of Pôle Company and Vice-President of UPE06, for the communication sector
– Sylvain Rouget, Communication Director of CCI Côte d’Azur, for communication of consular organizations
– Franck Viano, ICT Project Manager at the City of Nice and founder of Nice Premium, for the use of the web and social networks in journalism and communication
Each of these speakers will present their point of view on the specificities.
The evening will be open and free, but confirmation of your attendance is mandatory before Friday, May 4, by email at media.manager@ipag.fr or by phone at 04 93 13 39 00.
