Inaugurated by Charles-Ange Ginésy, the new Valberg skatepark began its activities this weekend.
“I am very happy that Valberg can participate in the enthusiasm sparked by skateboarding by offering its practitioners a beautiful spot, fully renovated, for even more thrills,” stated the host.
The young French hopeful Noé Montagard, originally from Marseille and only 11 years old, delighted the audience by giving a demonstration on the brand-new infrastructure and sharing his expertise with the many skaters present during the event.
The new skatepark, rehabilitated concrete on the basis of the existing site, extends over nearly 800 m2 and offers curves of varying degrees (bowl-type). Its predominantly red color refers to the red rocks of the Daluis Gorge.
Located 1h15 from the azure coast and at an altitude of 1,700 meters, Valberg now offers its visitors a new activity in an exceptional natural setting, thanks to the completely reimagined mountain skatepark concept.
