On the occasion of Nice’s pre-candidacy for hosting the 2018 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games, activities will be presented in schools.
Top athletes will be present, alongside Christian Estrosi, to discuss with children the values of sport, and more specifically, the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
On the upcoming 9th of January, students at Saint-Isidore school will have the opportunity to meet Christel Pascal (world vice-champion in slalom), Daniel Issautier (member of the French Handisport ski team from 1988 to 1998), and Valรฉrie Nicolas (goalkeeper for the French handball team, world champion in 2003).
In collaboration with the Academic Inspection of the Alpes Maritimes and the Departmental Olympic and Sports Committee (CDOS 06), this exchange conducive to dialogue will be repeated until February, involving volunteer classes from the third cycle (CE2, CM1, and CM2).
