Taking advantage of the easing of health measures announced by the Government from February 11 to 27, Nice will host the 137th edition of the carnival!
Seventeen decorated and animated floats under the theme “King of Animals” will parade to the rhythm of street art troupes and musical groups from various backgrounds (from around the world), all in a colorful, festive, and family-friendly atmosphere.
On Saturdays and Tuesdays, in the evening, come and discover the illuminated Carnival Parades: to the rhythm of musical groups and visual animations, let the carnival floats set your hearts alight. For the Flower Battles, costumed performers will parade on flower-adorned floats along a path of blossoms.
However, due to the current health context and in order to maintain this major winter event, modifications have been made to the format of the 2022 edition to comply with government guidelines and offer a show that ensures everyone’s safety. Spectators will be able to watch the parades from the stands of Place Masséna, at the heart of the parade, in numbered seated places.

Tickets can also be purchased on-site at the Paillon ticket office open daily from January 31 (except February 6) from 10 AM to 6 PM and up to 30 minutes after the start of the evening events.
