Discover at the Francis-Gag Theatre and the 109 the performances of 3 companies from Nice that will be featured at the Avignon « off » festival.
The azure capital is putting all resources in place to allow these actors to prepare under the best conditions before the ultimate goal: to conquer Avignon and face the professional world and its demanding audience. This is an opportunity for the Nice public to discover new productions before the grand departure for the fortified city. From July 5th to 28th, the Avignon « off » will host more than 1500 performances.
Jean-Luc Gagliolo, metropolitan and municipal councilor for the city of Nice, emphasizes “The trusted relationship between all city services” to make this project possible, adding that the Nice scene is “talented, reliable, and serious.”
Here are the plays that will participate in the Avignon festival and will be staged in June at the Francis-Gag Theatre and in public lighting at the 109.
