The Regional Director of Pôle emploi for the Alpes-Maritimes, Ghislaine Ellena, and the President of the Nice Côte d’Azur Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Bernard Kleynhoff, signed a partnership agreement on April 2, 2014, formalizing the various initiatives implemented in the region.
This agreement aims to develop synergies to serve job seekers and companies through concrete joint actions over the next three years.
In a challenging environment, the service missions of each institution necessitate coordinating efforts and organizing networking by sharing information on the economic development of the region and pooling resources.
“Building a shared diagnosis of workforce and training needs, anticipating and supporting changes in the local economic fabric, with an operational cooperation and complementarity spirit to serve businesses, are among the challenges of this agreement,” states Bernard Kleynhoff.
“We intend to implement territorial strategies to better meet employers’ needs, especially when they encounter recruitment difficulties,” adds Ghislaine Ellena.
