The Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis is committed to a Climate Plan aimed at defining a local strategy to combat climate change, allowing the region to implement national and international commitments to reducing greenhouse gas emissions by fourfold by the year 2050.

To achieve this, it must develop a program of concrete actions. Thus, four thematic working groups have met three times in the presence of key local stakeholders and have developed an initial proposal for a plan of action.

Following these workshops, open conferences were organized in Nice and Saint Martin du Var to explain the initiative undertaken by the Metropolis, exchange and debate on the preliminary action program, and present the ways for the public to contribute.

A new meeting is scheduled in the Metropolis territory, in La Trinité, in the presence of Mr. Hervé Paul, Mayor of Saint-Martin-du-Var, Delegate Counselor of Nice Côte d’Azur, and President of the Commission in charge of water, sanitation, and energy.
