A bus in the colors of the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis is currently circulating in Saint Petersburg, where it particularly visited the Christmas Markets in December as part of the 20th anniversary of the twinning with Saint Petersburg.
As evidence, the drawings of young people from Saint Petersburg’s Preobrajenie Studio, on the theme “The City and the Sea,” have been displayed on the back of the seats of the bus decorated in Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis colors.
Today, there are 10,000 Russian residents on the Côte d’Azur. As for Russian vacationers, more than 200,000 also use the almost daily direct flights to Moscow and Saint Petersburg, or the RZD Riviera Express railway line reinstated in 2010 between Nice and Moscow.
