As a flagship project among the “100 projects for the Centenary,” March 18th, the school’s anniversary month, will be particularly festive and symbolic, bringing together those who have contributed to and continue to shape the Paul Augier of today.

paul_augier-7.jpg 100 students will participate in the relay race of the “hotel Olympic flame” and the waiters’ race, which will symbolically connect the Hôtel Negresco to the Arénas, where the school is located.

Hundreds of people will have the great pleasure of attending this event (students from the high school, the CFA, and the GRETA, teachers, alumni, parents of students, and people working in businesses at the Arénas) which, like those that have already taken place, will be representative of the know-how and excellence of the École Hotelière de Nice.

It will undoubtedly be a great and beautiful celebration, a reward for the efforts of all those involved in the “100 Centenary projects,” the first of which have already enjoyed exceptional success.

On the program:

8 am: Grand Centenary Exhibition (organized by the Center for the History of Tourism Studies in the Alpes-Maritimes)

Jean-Claude Brugel, MOF 96 in culinary arts, Chef of the Café de Paris in Monaco, and Jean-Claude Canestier, MOF 93 in pastry, recently returned from the United States, with invitations to these lunches for 3 groups of 6 people each, offered by humanitarian and charity associations (Red Cross, Restos du Cœur, Secours Populaire)

It will be overseen by students of IAE Nice, Sports Business degree.

Then another stop at 144 Rue de France, the second site until 1992.

Upon arrival at the Arénas, around 4:15 pm, the waiters’ race will commence under the supervision of Physical Education and Sports teachers and restaurant teachers, for the enjoyment of hundreds of students, teachers, alumni, parents of students, and people working in the businesses of the Arénas.
