LET’S BE SPORTY! That’s the theme of this 72nd edition. In a 300 mยฒ area, many participants will share their passions with visitors: activities, demonstrations, initiations, and even tastings are on the program.
The Nice International Fair, with its 3 venues, 10,000 mยฒ of exhibition space, 10 days, and 95,000 visitors, is the largest event on the French Riviera.
The year 2016 promises to be a sporty and emotionally charged year, in connection with the major global events that are being prepared: the Rio 2016 Summer Olympics and UEFA Euro 2016.
From March 5 to 14, 2016, the Nice International Fair has decided to put on its sneakers and put sports in the spotlight. In a 300 mยฒ area, numerous sports will be presented with activities, demonstrations, and initiations on the program.
The Antibes Sharks: The historic club founded in 1942, holding 8 French championship titles and attracting over 300,000 spectators, will be present during the 10 days of the Fair. They will showcase their activities and will have a boutique and ticketing area.
A mini basketball court will be set up, where visitors can experience the joys of basketball. A contest with match tickets and numerous Sharks prizes will be up for grabs.
National Sports Museum: Present for 10 days, the National Sports Museum will have a 2.0 exhibition showcasing the relationship between sports and new technologies that enhance sports performance (tennis simulator, bike, electrodes, connected helmet, etc.).
Each year, a twin city is invited by the City of Nice. This year is the opportunity to discover the city of Gdansk, the cultural center of Poland, full of history, but also of artisanal and gastronomic specialties.
