“MIN EN FÊTE” aims to introduce the public free of charge to the high-quality products sold at the Nice MIN and the companies located there.
The Departmental Olympic and Sports Committee, which includes 2,500 sports clubs and more than 220,000 members in the Alpes-Maritimes, will bring its energy to over 5,000 m², in the Hall of Flowers, both indoors and outdoors, and will offer free introductions and sports demonstrations performed by high-level athletes.
The Nice MIN is the ambassador on the Côte d’Azur for fruits and vegetables, which are the best allies of our health, and this year, it will host an even larger number of partners specializing in “Better Living.”
Nutrition in Question at the Nice MIN
The Nutrition and Dietetics Service of the Nice University Hospital will discuss a topic that concerns us all: “The Benefits of Mediterranean Food” Various recommendations from the National Nutrition Health Program will be provided to the public.
Flyer distributions on various topics will take place during the two days of the event:
– “Eating Well for Better Growth” from 18 months to 6 years
– “I Grow Up with Fresh Fruits and Vegetables”
– “Moving is Healthy”
– “Playing Sports and Eating Well”
A questionnaire on the risks of malnutrition will be developed to inform the elderly.
The MIN Celebrates the “Great Nature Festival”
At the “MIN en Fête,” two spirited days of sports and freshness will be offered to the public from the Alpes-Maritimes, Var, Bouches-du-Rhône, Alpes de Haute Provence, and the Italian Riviera.
Program for these 2 days:

– Agricultural products,
– Food products,
– Horticultural products,
– Presentation of old agricultural equipment,
– Tasting of local products,
– Presentation of farm animals,
– Equestrian activities,
– Various animations, regional folklore,
– Eating areas,
– Children’s games,
– Sports demonstrations.
This is the perfect opportunity to “recharge” with fruit and vegetable producers and wholesalers, and other food products, not to mention the discovery of rare or traditional flowers and plants which add flavor to the art of floristry and gardening.
“LES MIN EN FÊTE” will welcome about 250 exhibitors on the magnificent site of the National Interest Market near the MIN “Flowers” and under several marquees.
“LES MIN EN FÊTE” offers the chance, over more than 50,000m², to meet producers, wholesalers of fruits – vegetables – flowers – and food products, specialists in Beauty – Goodness – and Tradition.
In another hall, 180 exhibitors will showcase their expertise: gourmet products, old flavors, forgotten recipes, wines and spirits from local terroirs will be offered for tasting and sale, along with handicrafts.
Private collections of old tractors will be showcased, as well as the exhibition of old equipment and tools from eco-museums of the department.
Thanks to an exhibition of utility vehicles, everyone can discover and possibly buy the latest models of vans, minivans, and even tractors.
Road safety will also be part of the event to teach young people the elementary rules of the road code and safety.
The MIN has not forgotten the children! They have prepared surprises for them with entertainment and game structures.
Daniel Juges’ farm with its cows, as well as that of Valérie Fiorot with her sheep and goats will delight everyone. Nice Equitation will offer equestrian shows, on-site courses, and pony rides.
The craft area will be even more dynamic than last year with presentations of woodturning, wicker basket design, a spectacular “lavender water” making with an ancestral still, and the delicacy of Valerie Fiorot’s Angora goats which will show us spinning “Wool Thread.”
The Chamber of Agriculture, chaired by Michel Dessus, will also be present on a large 50m² stand and will talk about the professions in Agriculture.
On a prestigious stand, the FDSEA (Departmental Federation of Agricultural Exploiters’ Syndicates), Nice Quality Plus, and the Wholesalers’ Syndicate in flowers will present to visitors rare flowers, new varieties, and their know-how.
For these two days, the Nice MIN will become a space of local gastronomy. Here, one can discover in 15 food stations the true flavor of Nice dishes: Socca – Pan Bagnat – Salade Niçoise, which will be featured, along with many other surprises.
