After an initial postponement, the match between Nice and Narbonne, originally scheduled for this Tuesday, has been postponed once again due to several positive cases within the Nice Volleyball team.
Bad news for the fans and the entire Nice Volleyball team. The Nice/Narbonne match, a rescheduled game from the first day of the championship, which was initially supposed to take place on August 30 at Salle Giamarchi but was first postponed to October 2 and then to November 10, is being postponed again to a later date.
This decision comes following the emergence of several positive cases within the Nice team. The National Volleyball League (LNV), following the announcements of the lockdown, has postponed the 8th day of the Ligue A. Nice Volleyball was deprived of a match against Tourcoing last Saturday. Consequently, with this new postponement, the team finds itself two games behind schedule.
It’s already been a week since Nice last played a championship match since their last one in Chaumont (a 3-1 defeat, on October 31). Nice, we remind you, is 13th in the Ligue A standings, just above Gazelec Ajaccio, with only three points and four defeats out of five matches played. Clearly, the medical staff and the entire team management have a lot on their plate.
The rescheduled dates for the postponed matches have not yet been announced. The LNV is expected to announce new information very soon regarding the continuation of the championship during the confinement period.
