All the vital forces of the Opéra Nice Côte d’Azur are coming together this Saturday at 8 PM on the stage of the Opéra de Nice for a concert-show entitled “Family Reunion,” during which the audience will be able to discover some of the highlights scheduled for this new season.
Thus, over the course of an exceptional evening, the Nice Philharmonic Orchestra, the Ballet Nice Méditerranée, the Opera Chorus, lyrical artists, and the actress Sophie de Montgolfier, who through a few judiciously chosen readings, will immerse the spectators in the unique universe of each work, will take turns on stage.
In about fifteen tableaux composed of music, dances, songs, and punctuated by readings, the audience will be able to discover all the major moments of the 21/22 season in its three dimensions: lyrical, symphonic, and choreographic.
This unprecedented event, designed by the Director of the Opera, Bertrand Rossi, will also be an opportunity for the Nice audience to meet the new Principal Conductor of the Nice Philharmonic Orchestra, Daniele Callegari, who will conduct the concert’s musical direction.
With the Nice Philharmonic Orchestra, Ballet Nice Méditerranée (Artistic Director Éric Vu-An), and the Opera Chorus (Director Giulio Magnanini).
