Yesterday at Quai Riboty, Eric Ciotti, Deputy and President of the General Council of the Alpes-Maritimes, and Gilbert Pasqui, President of the Pasqui Trophy Association, presented the Nice Regattas.
For the 4th edition of the Nice Regattas, the General Council partnered with Gilbert Pasqui to make this event a major gathering. A greater scale was therefore sought and achieved through the renown of the Pasqui Trophy President. This fusion allows for the gathering of 40 sailboats, compared to 26 last year. Nine of the largest boats will be present, with more than 10,000 meters of sail. The public will be able to watch the regattas from the coasts and two boats. This event, which is part of the heritage, enjoys a port that is experiencing a revival.
To boost its aura, the Regattas have benefited from the reputation of the “local port native” Gilbert Pasqui.
