The Socialist Party Federation of the Alpes-Maritimes joins the national tribute to the politician and former Prime Minister Michel Rocard. This Wednesday at 6:30 PM, a laying of roses will take place at the War Memorial in Nice.
“All those, activists, supporters, or citizens, who wish to join this ceremony are welcome”, states a note from the PS06 Federation.
Similarly, the national tribute ceremony will be broadcast at the Federation on Thursday, July 7, starting at noon and will be open to the public.
The Union of Democrats and Ecologists, through its departmental secretary Nathalie Audin, also joins in this mourning: “He leaves us orphaned with the feeling that we do not quite know how to meet the challenge he entrusted to us. His eternal optimism encourages us to continue hearing his voice and his certain benevolence in what we will do to continue honoring him.”
