The Nice-St Laurent du Var cable car project is taking shape.

Latest News

For several years now, cable cars have been appearing in big cities. Practical, fast, and innovative, several cities like Lyon, Grenoble, and even Toulouse have taken the plunge.

Could it be Nice’s turn? The project aimed at connecting the western part of the city to St Laurent du Var is entering its active phase. The 800-meter route will link the Cadam to a station that will be created in three minutes. A departure is planned every four minutes.

The arrival of this new means of transport will allow residents easier access to the infrastructure located on either side of the river.

The city has until the fall of 2022 to finalize the project.
