With this agreement signed on June 28, 2021, the objective is to expand the scope of collaborations in the field of medical training by leveraging the knowledge, expertise, and experience of the professionals at the CHU of Nice. This aligns with the CHU of Nice’s international development strategy. This development includes the international training of medical and paramedical professionals at the CHU of Nice or abroad. The healthcare institution also provides consultancy and management services to international health actors, as well as specialized medical care for foreign patients.
From now on, every year, the Nice CHU will host around ten Kuwaitis, whose training will be fully funded by their country’s authorities.
After signing the agreement with Dr. Basel Al Sabah, the Minister of Health of Kuwait, the director of the CHU, Charles Guรฉpratte, stated: “For years, the CHU of Nice has been training foreign healthcare professionals. We have built a long-standing relationship with the Kuwait Institute for Medical Specialization (KIMS) and are now looking forward to welcoming Kuwaiti professionals. We are proud to contribute to the transfer of skills for the benefit of the Kuwaiti population through our training programs that reflect French excellence and innovation in patient care.”
