Good weekend for the Stade Niçois teams as well as the 06 alliances, achieving a nice 7 out of 8!
The first team won in Solliès Pont against a valiant team from Gapeau 16 to 6. Like last week’s match at the Arboras against Six-Fours, the Niçois struggled in finishing and completing plays. The Niçois scored two tries through Sergère and then Martinez, a penalty by Paul Perez-Cazelles, and a drop goal by Thibaud Nègre. Find the match summary on the stadenicois.fr website.
The reserve team continues its momentum by securing its 12th consecutive victory. Victorious at Gapeau 26 to 6, the Niçois secured the defensive bonus on the last action of the match. The team remains at the top of its group with a 7-point lead over second place Aubagne.
Among the youths:
The elite cadets won their matches against Rovaltain, 42 to 7 in Alamercery and 17 to 10 in Gaudermen.
A 17 to 10 victory for the Teulière in the 06 derby against Menton.
The Philiponeau team won 25 to 0 at Six-Fours in a hard-fought match.
Finally, the women’s team won the first triangular at Cruas against Cruas and Romagnat!
All this while our young Niçois from the rugby school took to the fields of Saint Laurent du Var for the Octave Mayen tournament.
