This Saturday, a grand Salade Niçoise competition will take place in Falicon as part of the village’s summer festival. It’s an opportunity to honor our local gastronomic heritage and its most emblematic recipe.
And the lineup will be top-notch on the contestant side, featuring Framboise Deschamps (Les Ratatouillettes), world champion of Pan Bagnat and winner of the carnival ganses contest, as well as many regulars of local contests like Clémentine, Jack, or Sarah.
On the jury side, Mrs. Gisèle Kruppert, Mayor of Falicon, will be the president, while the Collectif Cuisine Niçoise will be represented by Franck Viano (L’Atelier Cuisine Niçoise) and Chef Mattéo Mansi (L’Auberge de Téo) will proudly carry the colors of the Maître Restaurateur label.
