Seven hours of non-stop football is possible, and it’s a first this Thursday in Nice. This event is organized by the sports management students of the IAE of Nice. From 6 PM to 1 AM, football lovers will be in for a treat.
The Valrose Gymnasium is ready to host a special event, a night tournament with four different forms of football. Twelve teams of 6 players are registered for this night of football which promises to deliver. The football enthusiasts will start with a futsal tournament before moving to the quarterfinals in jorkyball (a mix between squash and football). For the semifinals, the last four teams will compete in a traditional foot tennis tournament.
For the grand finale, the organizers have gone big. Indeed, the two finalist teams will try to clinch the title during a Bubble football 5 vs. 5 match. This sport, originating from Norway, is spectacular. It involves playing a football match encased in large transparent bubbles, making scoring challenging. Dribbling, getting up, passing the ball has never been this difficult. An exciting challenge to win this Night of Football.
It is worth noting that prizes will be awarded for the best costumes and the best supporters in the stands of the Valrose Gymnasium. The teams quickly eliminated can enjoy the Bubble Football entertainment as well as the drink stands and food areas available. The ambition lies with IAE Sport. Let the games begin.
