Building on the success of the first edition, students from the IAE of Nice once again hosted the return of the “Nuit des Glaces” at the Jean Bouin skating rink last night, with even more shows and surprises. It was a great success with the public in attendance at the Jean Bouin rink.
This gala evening highlighted ice sports:
Figure Skating: represented by the Nice Baie des Anges Association club.
Ice Hockey: with the exceptional presence of the Nice Eagles, who are part of France’s first division championship.
Freestyle on Ice: showcasing the new sensation in ice sports.
Speed Skating: a competition among the best local skaters.
There were also a fire breather, cheerleaders, many prizes to win, and many more surprises…
In the second part of the evening, the public had the opportunity to put on skates to experience the thrill of gliding, try their hand at “Curling-Bowling,” and enjoy various activities!
Also noteworthy was the exceptional presence of the 2011 World Ice Sculpting Champion “Mario Amegรฉe,” who created a sculpture on the Jean Bouin rink while the public was on the ice.
