Nice welcomes its international students to an exceptional event: The Night of Students of the World!
Taking place simultaneously in more than twenty French university cities, under the auspices of the AVUF, the Night of Students of the World is a major welcome evening for students from around the world who come to study in France.
This event will take place this Friday in a venue that is both iconic and filled with hope: the Maison de lโEtudiant.
It’s an opportunity for international students to make numerous connections in a friendly setting!
The Nights of the Students of the World have been the back-to-school event for over 15 years! Born in Lyon in 2002, they are organized by citiesโcommitted and signatory to a charterโin collaboration with the CROUS and international relations services of campuses (schools and universities). The aim is to promote international mobility, encourage intercultural exchanges, and facilitate meetings between students while offering them customized support in integration procedures.
France is an attractive country, with a population of 300,000 foreign students. “The Nights of the Students of the World, celebrating their 15th anniversary in 2017, are a tremendous tool for promoting knowledge. Through our joint actions, we must transition from seeing students as mere users to being active participants and from active participants to ambassadors,” explains Frรฉdรฉrique Vidal, Minister of Higher Education, Research, and Innovation.
