On the initiative of the new municipality and its mayor Charles Scibetta, Carros has decided to organize this summer’s “Nuits de la villa,” a series of shows and concerts that will take place every weekend during the months of July and August in the sumptuous setting of the amphitheater at Villa Barbary, in Carros village.
The program prepared for the occasion is intended to be very varied. Thus, there will be songs and music (jazz, blues, folk, pop, flamenco, classical music, electro-pop…), opera, theater, humor, and even storytelling!
In total, 13 dates are scheduled for these “Nuits de la villa” with, among the headliners: Richard Cairaschi (theater), Michel Villano (imitation), and Chinaski (French chanson).
Among the concerts and shows scheduled, some are part of the summer tour by the General Council of the Alpes-Maritimes (Dimi Cat on July 19 and Blues 100% on August 2).
Note also that the storytelling festival “Les murmures de la villa” is included in this program (August 8 and 9).
The “Nuits de la villa” kicked off last Saturday with the Marjorie Martinez Quartet, featuring jazz, blues, folk, and pop singer.
