On May 22 at the Jean-Giono College, 2 Ricolfi Street
Michel-Jean Floc’h, the academic inspector of the Alpes-Maritimes, and Alain Alquier, the principal delegate of the MAE of the Alpes-Maritimes, will present the “Coup de Coeur” award to the students and teachers of the Jean Giono College in Nice.
The “Non au harcรจlement” (No to Bullying) award honors groups aged 8 to 18 for creating a poster or a video to prevent bullying. These creations are used as communication tools to carry out projects in their respective institutions. The first edition of the “Non au harcรจlement” award was launched in 2013, and since then, it has enjoyed significant success. This year, it involved more than 600 schools, middle schools, high schools, and peri- and extraschool structures across France.
This year, the 6th grade class 6 of the Jean Giono College in Nice participated in the national “Non au harcรจlement” award, which aims to collectively give young people a voice on bullying through the creation of a poster or a video. It is their video “What did you expect?” that received the 2017 “Coup de Coeur” award. During the ceremony on May 22, the Jean Giono College in Nice will receive a grant of โฌ1,000, presented by the MAE representative.
