The novels competing for the 27th Nice Baie des Anges Prize

Last Friday marked the annual meeting of the City of Nice literary prize dedicated to novels. Thus, the eight novels competing for the 27th Nice Baie des Anges Prize were selected by the jury members.

Sponsored by the City of Nice, this prize rewards a novel published in the twelve months preceding the Nice Book Festival, which will be held from June 2 to 4, 2023.

The jury now has two months to read the nominated books. The Nice Baie des Anges Prize will then be awarded to the winner on May 17, and presented on June 2 by Christian Estrosi, Mayor of Nice, during the 27th edition of the Book Festival.

Last year, there were two winners, a tie between the novel Number Two by David Foenkinos and In the Name of the Suffering Endured by Thierry Vimal.
