Created in 1998 by the “Centre Occitan del País Castrés”, the Occitan Dictation is an event that promotes the Occitan language. Today, more than forty French cities throughout the Occitanie region participate, including Barcelona. For this 26th edition, Niçoise associations are coming together to lend their expertise to the City of Nice. It is a free event open to everyone, taking place at the Centre Universitaire Méditerranéen, thus gathering a large number of participants.
