The Lenval Children’s Hospital enthusiastically welcomed three professional players from OGC Nice. An initiative that will be repeated once a month.

Yesterday evening, the OGC Nice players met with children hospitalized at the Lenval Foundation. It was an opportunity for these young ones to meet the players they are used to seeing on their TV screens every week. They were accompanied by several members of the Adrien association dressed as superheroes, as well as three magicians from the Magic & Smile association.

This week, Dante, Arnaud Souquet, and Pierre Lees-Melou joined in between two training sessions. The schedule included visits to the rooms, selfies, autographs, and gift distribution.

“We are happy to bring them a bit of joy during these difficult times they are going through,” said Arnaud Souquet.

“If we can help them through these visits, it is fantastic. I believe that if you ask the players to take part in such activities, everyone would respond positively to the invitation. Whether they are for Nice, Lyon, Paris, or Marseille, it doesn’t matter,” stated Pierre Lees-Melou.

Lucas, 13 years old, had been eagerly awaiting this moment. “I’ve always supported the club. It’s been two years since I signed up with the school and other organizations to meet the players. When they told me they were coming, I couldn’t believe it! I’m super happy to have seen them in real life.”

Before concluding their visit, the players had the chance to play a bit of football with some young ones in a hospital playroom. See you next month with other stars from the club, and perhaps even a certain Mario Balotelliโ€ฆ
