The OGCN transfer window: Alassane Plea joins Mönchengladbach

Latest News

OGC Nice and Borussia Mönchengladbach have agreed on the transfer of Alassane Plea.

The 25-year-old forward will now play in the Bundesliga, wearing the colors of Borussia Mönchengladbach, where he has chosen to continue his career.

Aged 21 when he arrived in Nice in the summer of 2014, Alassane Plea quickly integrated into the Nice team. Trained as a right midfielder, it was in the forward positions that the Lille native made his mark in the red and black jersey.

After 4 championships and scoring 42 goals in the red and black shirt, having become a locker room leader despite his young age, Alassane Plea displayed his generosity both on and off the field.

A sponsor of the Gym solidaire, he even became the first Ligue 1 player to donate 1% of his salary to a charity, contributing to the launch of OGC Nice’s endowment fund.
