Marie-José Pérec will be the guest of the National Sports Museum on April 8th. She will become the first woman to be honored as a “Legend of Sport,” succeeding Michel Platini.
A triple Olympic champion, double world champion, and triple European champion, the woman whom the French affectionately call Marie-Jo is undoubtedly one of the greatest champions in history.
The National Sports Museum wanted to pay tribute to this exceptional career by honoring her as a “Legend of Sport,” an honorary distinction reserved for the greatest French athletes. She thus joins Michel Platini, who was the first honored legend.
On this occasion, she has agreed to participate in a meeting that will take place at 7 p.m. at the Pathé Gare du Sud cinema. It will be hosted by Vincent Duluc, sports journalist and Chairman of the National Sports Museum Board of Directors.
