The Opening Ceremony of the Promenade des Anglais site (Centenary Monument) at Place Masséna was approved by the Steering Committee. The structure of the event, both protocol and artistic, will remain unchanged.
Indeed, even though the Promenade des Anglais offered a prestigious setting, the installation of the significant stage setup over fifteen days would have caused severe disruptions in traffic, both vehicular and pedestrian.
