By chance, Nice Premiรจre will be the media outlet for the “Erotica Dream 2005” expo.
This coincidence allowed us to meet Gรฉrard, the creator of this provocative expo who opens up and presents his show that has graced the biggest cities in France.
Gรฉrard, can you tell us about your Erotica Dream expo?
It’s an expo dedicated to eroticism, charm, sensuality, and the pleasure of the senses, aimed to entertain and inform men and women of all sexualities who are acknowledged.
Why did you choose Nice for this expo?
It was the last major French city without its own erotic expo. We received hundreds of emails and letters from people in the region eager to have this type of event locally.
What will we find at your expo?
Visitors will find a full range of erotic products from A to X (see the full eroticism section on the website www.eroticadream.net). They will also have the opportunity to meet porn stars like NOMI, NINA ROBERTS, TIFFANY HOPKINS, ESTELLE DESANGESโฆ in shows and signing autographs.
And CLARA MORGANE who honors us with her presence. She will indulge her many fans with her finest autograph, likely accompanied by a little โKiss from Niceโ that will have them “surfing the wave of pleasure.”
As for women, they are not overlooked. Indeed, about 60% of the products exhibited are aimed at women, from nail care to piercing, sexy lingerie, dresses, sex toys, and many other products. Additionally, a large part of the entertainment is dedicated to them, including a nightly โLADIES NIGHTโ session in the erotic theater (entry forbidden to men).
Associations for AIDS prevention and many more surprises are also part of the expo.
How is Erotica Dream perceived overall?
I would simply say, there are those who go and those who want to go. There is also a minority who think that such events tarnish the image of women.
In concrete terms, each Erotica Dream expo attracts between 25,000 and 30,000 visitors with 42% couples and 46% single men, which makes up about a third of female clientele.
Did you face any difficulties organizing this expo in Nice?
No more than elsewhere! The management of Acropolis, concerned about the quality of events held within their walls, wanted to ensureโrightly soโour seriousness and competency. A delegation visited our event in Lille in December. Afterwards, everything moved very quickly.
How is the expo shaping up a week before opening?
Better than we could have imagined. Since the advertisements went out, our telephone lines have literally exploded. The interest from the people of Nice, eager for information, is impressive. The media enthusiasm is also great. It’s going to be a good year.
Finally, what will be the highlights of Erotica Dream 2005?
We have assembled an exceptional lineup of artists with porn stars aplenty, an event spanning nearly 5,000 square meters with a hundred exhibitors from France, Italy, Spain, and Belgium. However, local merchants have been somewhat timid in responding to the call for participation. CLARA MORGANE’S presence, continuous male and female performances, surprises, and lots of gifts are also expected.
