What is the Orientation Train?

For the fifth consecutive year, the Train, organized in partnership with ONISEP and under the patronage of the Ministry of National Education and the Ministry of Higher Education and Research, travels across France.

This new season offers 14 different stops. For each city stage, the Train is an unmissable event.

This key event of the start of the academic year, organized in partnership with the city of Nice, offers young high school students, university students, and their parents a direct encounter with higher education stakeholders.

Each thematic car gathers exhibitors, representing the myriad possibilities for further studies and various sectors of activity. Whether institutional, business, or educational establishments, the public will receive all the necessary information for their orientation choices.

Short, long, general, or specialized studies (in commerce, communication, engineering, arts, health, social work, etc.) will be explained. The content of the programs, their purpose, and their career prospects will be detailed. In the conference car, a journalist from lโ€™Etudiant, surrounded by education professionals, will further inform and provide all useful information on opportunities for further studies, particularly post-secondary education.

Studies, careers, student life… everything is there to approach your academic journey well-informed. An opportunity to ask questions and clarify your orientation choices.

By once again partnering with the Orientation Train, the SNCF envisions the future with young people. 14 city stops, 14 opportunities for young people and their parents to meet professionals from all sectors and discover all the professions of the SNCF (with more than 100 different professions, also available on sncf.com).

Focus on the CPU: the Conference of University Presidents (CPU) represents and defends the interests of the institutions it groups: universities, national polytechnic institutes, ร‰coles Normales Supรฉrieures, major institutions, research and higher education hubs (PRES).
