After the Olympic Games, which took place from July to early August, Tokyo will host the Paralympic Games from tomorrow until September 5. The city of Nice has set up a system to follow the event live.
Tomorrow, Tuesday, August 24, will mark the opening of the Tokyo Paralympic Games. As part of this exceptional event, the City of Nice is organizing a day of activities at Phoenix Park.
Starting at 12:30 PM, both young and old can participate in the “medal hunt” throughout Phoenix Park until 5:30 PM.
From 3:30 PM, para-athletes will be present to share their experiences with the public. Visitors will then be able to step into the shoes of the athletes with swimming, fencing, and billiards events involving local clubs like OGC Nice Escrime or the Billard Club Nice. The ARJNCA (Association of Japanese Residents of Nice Cรดte-d’Azur) will also be present to host cultural and creative activities.
Finally, the public can watch the opening ceremony of the Paralympic Games on a big screen from 1 PM to 4 PM.
