On August 28, 1944, the Resistance liberated Nice from the Nazi occupiers.
To pay tribute to the women and men who liberated Nice and our country, the Nice section of the French Communist Party (PCF) is organizing a popular commemoration that will take place at 7 PM at the Carrefour du 28 Août (corner of Boulevard Gambetta and Boulevard Joseph Garnier).
