This initiative by the restaurateurs of the port district, launched in 2011, is being continued on August 11 and 25. These summer evening events allow everyone to come stroll, dine, and listen to music with family or friends around the thirty partner restaurants.
These evenings are organized by the Association of Restaurateurs, Shopkeepers, and Residents of the port of Nice, chaired by Marie-Claire Solari.
Starting at 7 p.m., some of the traffic lanes are pedestrianized:
– The first one is located on the upper Lunel quays, between the exit of the Infernet parking lot and the Robilante barrier.
– The second one on the upper Deux-Emmanuel quays (left lane only) and the port entrance.
Once the port is returned to pedestrians, a transformation takes place. The upper quays are turned into both dining areas—an exceptional permit allows restaurateurs to extend their terraces across the roadway—and performance stages!
