The people of Nice must prepare for video penalties.

Since Monday, November 1st, the security cameras in the city of Nice have been keeping an eye on you for infractions.

The “ticketing officers” at the Nice video surveillance center can issue you a fine remotely for traffic violations you commit on the street.

Currently, there are 3 key areas in Nice that are affected (Boulevard Gambetta between Rue de la Buffa and the Promenade des Anglais, Avenue de Verdun between Place Masséna and Avenue de Suède, Boulevard Carlone and Boulevard de la Madeleine).
